Commas are used to separate adjectives in a list when they are all describing the same noun.

Commas are left out when one adjective is describing another.
A light pink shirt.
When ordering adjectives consider if it is objective, which is a definite fact, or subjective, that is more opinionated.
When using multiple adjectives, use commas if they are all describing the same noun, but not when one adjective is describing another.
